As previously blogged, the missus and I did a Fred Olsen cruise on the Boudicca to Casablanca and along the North African shore to Algiers and back via Spain and Lisbon at the end of March and first week of April. Of the three lecture cruises I’ve done, this was the most enjoyable. The weather was lovely and the places interesting. We danced every night and talked to some very nice people. One of these was Jane Tapley, who works at the Theatre Royal in Bath and is a very accomplished lecturer on themes related to the theatre and Bath; well worth listening to. As for my own lectures, they seemed to be a success to judge from the feedback. I have a few more speaking engagements in course of being finalised and will post details in due course.
